If you have been the victim of a crime, the NM Victims' Rights Project can help. We offer a variety of forms of assistance, including:

Victim Advocacy Services:

Assistance in explaining the judicial process (criminal and civil)
Help in developing questions to ask the District Attorney's office
How to access a copy of the police report or driving record
Explaining your rights and role in the courtroom
How to contact the Medical Investigator
Where and how to access financial assistance
Pro bono legal representation if needed

Support and Referral Information
The Victims' Rights projects collaborates with many other state organizations. support groups, shelters, victim advocates and law enforcement officials to assist you in finding the emotional, financial and physical help you need.
