Victim Resources
The NM Victims' Rights Project strives to raise awareness of victims' rights by providing
educational materials to victims, communities and the agencies entrusted to provide victims'
rights. If you have suggestions for additional victim resources, please

The New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission (CVRC) provides financial assistance to victims
of violent crime. If you have incurred expenses related to a crime committed against you, you may
be entitled to financial reparation.

The Office of Victims of Crime (OVC) was established by the 1984 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) to oversee
diverse programs that benefit victims of crime. OVC provides a wide-range of publications designed to
